Improvement of gastric and duodenal ulcers (gastritis, excessive gastric acid) and digestive symptoms
This medication effectively acts on gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, helping to alleviate symptoms of heartburn and regurgitation caused by excessive gastric acid. It also aids in improving uncomfortable symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Through its antacid action, it protects the gastric mucosa and regulates excessive gastric acid secretion to facilitate digestion. This medication is used to improve gastrointestinal discomfort and alleviate symptoms.
As almagate, the dosage is 1 g per dose, taken three times a day, orally chewed 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if necessary.
Children over 12 years old should take the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by anyone allergic to it or its components. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, body swelling, pregnancy-induced hypertension, diarrhea, or unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding should also avoid taking this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. If you are taking other medications, consult a physician or pharmacist as this medication may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs. Especially, patients with impaired kidney function should be cautious as there is a risk of magnesium or aluminum accumulation in the body. Individuals who are frail or have low intake of in should consult a doctor concerning long-term use as it may affect bone health. Elderly patients, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, pregnant women or those who could become pregnant, and nursing mothers should also consult specialists before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during use or if symptoms do not improve within two weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and when giving it to children, it should be administered under parental supervision. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept in its original container, and stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

This medication should not be taken with tetracycline antibiotics. If you are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, ulcer treatment medications, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron salts, or salicylates, consult a physician or pharmacist.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air exposure and is best kept at a room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Proper storage will help maintain the medication's effectiveness for longer.
