Prevention and relief of motion sickness (dizziness and vomiting)
This medication is used to prevent and relieve symptoms such as dizziness, vomiting, and headache caused by motion sickness.
For individuals aged 15 and older, take 1 tablet once, 30 minutes to 1 hour before travel to prevent motion sickness. If an additional dose is needed, take 1 tablet again at least 4 hours apart. The maximum number of doses per day is limited to 2.
This medication should not be taken by children under 12 years of age. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. During treatment, it is advised not to take other medications such as antiemetics, cold medications, antipyretics and analgesics, antihistamines, sedatives, expectorants, gastric pain relievers, or antispasmodics simultaneously. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions such as rash, redness, or itching due to medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Patients with heart disease, glaucoma, urinary disorders, those who are physically weak, elderly individuals, those taking other medications, or patients with respiratory conditions such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis should seek advice before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, palpitations, headache, facial flushing, photophobia, or urinary disorders occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately and consultation with a healthcare professional is necessary. Also, if symptoms of dry mouth or constipation appear, it is advisable to stop taking the medication and consult a professional. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and it should not be administered to children. Drowsiness may occur when taking this medication, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. It is advisable not to consume alcoholic beverages during treatment. There have been no significant risks reported regarding the use of this medication during pregnancy; however, animal studies have shown the possibility of fetal malformations, so consultation with a healthcare professional is necessary before use during pregnancy. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Also, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
