Improvement of skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis group, and urticaria group
This medication is used for various skin inflammatory diseases including eczema, dermatitis, and chronic simple eczema. It also helps alleviate inflammation in cases of insect bites or urticaria accompanied by papules. It is effective in improving symptoms of chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis and palmoplantar pustulosis. It alleviates itching and inflammation of the skin, helping to restore a comfortable skin condition. As a widely used therapeutic agent for these skin diseases, it contributes to reducing patients' discomfort.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1-2 times daily, adjusting dosage as needed based on symptoms. Also, conduct occlusive therapy as necessary.
This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections. In particular, it may worsen symptoms in cases of bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or infections caused by animals. Patients allergic to this medication or its components should also avoid its use. Patients with otitis externa with a perforated eardrum may experience delayed wound healing and increased risk of infection when using this medication. It should also be avoided in patients with skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite; similarly, patients with perioral dermatitis or general acne should not be treated with it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, and the elderly should use this medication cautiously. In particular, children need to be monitored closely for growth disturbances or hormonal imbalances due to systemic absorption. When using this medication, if signs of infection appear, it should be stopped immediately as it may exacerbate skin infections. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so the dosage should be gradually reduced under medical supervision. Additionally, this medication can systematically absorb and suppress pituitary-adrenal function, therefore regular testing is required if used extensively or in occlusive therapy. Caution should be exercised when applying near the eyes, as it may cause increased intraocular pressure or lead to eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts. Although it is generally not used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, it is advisable to use it with antibiotics or antifungals if necessary. It is preferable to avoid using it in pregnant or nursing women, and if use is needed, the benefits and risks should be carefully weighed. Children and the elderly are at a higher risk for side effects, thus extra caution is advised during use. Do not use this medication for ophthalmic purposes, and it should not be used for purposes other than treatment after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive therapy, it must be done under medical supervision, and the affected area should be kept clean to minimize the risk of infection. Store out of reach of children to prevent accidental poisoning. Finally, caution is needed as prolonged excessive use in psoriasis patients may result in erythrodermic psoriasis or pustular psoriasis.
If a skin infection worsens during use, delayed healing and infections in perforated eardrum patients, increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, cataracts, severe endocrine disorders due to HPA suppression, systemic side effects with extensive/sustained use, immediate cessation needed if symptoms worsen
