This medication is used for viral infections such as herpes simplex, genital herpes, and oral herpes. It helps effectively treat both initial and recurrent outbreaks.

How to use

Adult use

Apply this medication to the affected area (site of disease) five times a day at approximately four-hour intervals. Treatment should continue for 5 days, and if not resolved after 5 days, it can be used for an additional 5 days.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components. Additionally, it is safe to avoid use in nursing women or children. Caution is required for patients with weakened immune systems, such as those with AIDS or bone marrow transplant recipients. This medication contains propylene glycol, so individuals with allergies or sensitivities to this substance should be careful.
