How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adults should take 1 pouch (single dose) three times a day before meals or in between meals.

Precautions

This medicine contains lactose, and therefore individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney diseases must consult with a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with edema or elderly individuals need special caution when taking this medication, and dosage adjustment may be required if necessary. Those currently taking other medications or undergoing treatment, individuals in a post-illness weakened state, or those with a weak stomach must consult with a specialist before consumption. Patients experiencing loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, excessive sweating, urinary disorders, or hyperthyroidism must also consult prior to taking this medication. Diabetic patients should be cautious as the components in this medication may raise blood sugar levels. If unusual symptoms such as face or limb swelling or blood pressure increase occur during administration, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, indigestion, or urinary issues occur, discontinue usage immediately and consult medical personnel. If symptoms do not improve for several days, stop taking the medication and seek guidance from a specialist. Long-term use should generally be avoided, and if necessary, consultation with a specialist should be sought. Caution should be exercised when taken with medications containing potassium or specific diuretics, as well as any drugs containing licorice due to the risk of adverse effects. Additionally, co-administration with ephedra, ephedrine, thyroid medication, or certain stimulants may lead to increased side effects and requires careful dosage adjustments. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, and be cautious of ingredient duplication when taking with other herbal medications. Store this medication in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. It is safest to keep it in its original container and not transfer it to another container.
