This medication is used for various neurological and cardiovascular diseases including systemic paralysis, limb paralysis, speech disorders, coma, mental confusion, facial nerve paralysis due to stroke, hypertension, palpitations, anxiety, acute and chronic convulsions, autonomic nervous dysfunction, and loss of consciousness.

How to take

Adult dose

(Granules) Typically for adults, 1 granule once, taken 1-2 times a day, chewed or mixed in warm water. (Liquid) (Suspension) Typically for adults, 1 bottle or 30 mL once, taken 1-2 times a day.

Child dose

(Granules) For ages 8-15 years 2/3 granule once, 5-7 years 1/2 granule, 2-4 years 1/3 granule, under 1 year 1/4 granule, taken 1-2 times a day, chewed or mixed in warm water. (Liquid) (Suspension) For ages 8-15 years 1.

Precautions

If symptoms such as reduced urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heaviness of the eyelids, hand stiffness, increased blood pressure, or headache occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If side effects such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, skin rashes, itching, indigestion, nausea, or diarrhea occur, stop taking the medication and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after a few days, it is important to stop taking the medication and consult a professional. When using long-term, consult a professional and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. Be cautious when taking this medication with potassium-containing drugs, licorice-containing drugs, or certain diuretics as side effects may occur. This drug may be effective for motor disabilities or facial paralysis after a stroke; however, its efficacy for speech disabilities or consciousness disturbances is not clear. The effectiveness for breathing difficulty has not been proven, so it should not be used for this symptom. When taking with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid ingredient overlap.
