How to apply

Adult use

Precautions

It is important not to use this medicine in patients with various infections of the skin. In particular, it should not be administered when there are symptoms of skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as these can worsen the condition. Also, it should not be used in patients with allergies to this medicine or its components, those with otitis externa with a perforated tympanic membrane, ulcers, or severe burns. It is also not recommended for patients with scalp infections, perioral dermatitis, acne, or certain skin conditions. It is safe not to use this medicine in children under 24 months of age. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, the elderly, and patients with poor liver function or diabetes should use this medicine cautiously. When using this medicine, it is essential to monitor the infected area closely as skin infections can worsen, and if necessary, it may be used in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals. If used for an extended period or over a large area, systemic absorption of the steroid may lead to hormonal imbalances or side effects; thus, caution is required. Particularly, when used around the eyes, there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure and the onset of eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts, so extra care should be taken. Side effects may include rash, itching, irritation, and erythema on the skin; if these symptoms worsen, use should be discontinued. With prolonged use, there may be skin thinning, skin color changes, acne, erythema, and other steroid-related side effects, requiring regular monitoring. Pregnant women should use this medicine for the minimum duration possible, limiting it to the smallest surface area, and breastfeeding women should also use it cautiously, considering the safety of both mother and child. Due to their larger skin surface area relative to body weight, children are at a higher risk of side effects, so use should be limited to the shortest duration possible, with regular assessments of their condition. Do not apply this medicine directly to the eyes; wash hands thoroughly after use, and it is advisable to avoid occlusive dressing methods such as adhesive bandages without a doctor's direction. Additionally, avoid using this medicine on areas that are too broad or for extended periods, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen while using it, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, in its original container, to prevent misuse or degradation of quality.
