Precautions

This medicine is a topical preparation and should not be used in patients with certain infections. For example, if there is a skin infection caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, the condition may worsen, and it should not be administered. Patients who have a history of allergy or hypersensitivity reactions to this drug or its components should also avoid using it. Caution is needed for patients with eczematous external otitis who have a perforated tympanic membrane, as healing may be delayed. Patients with skin ulcers or severe burns, frostbite may also experience delayed healing due to the use of this drug, which can hinder skin regeneration. It is advisable to avoid this medicine in patients with perioral dermatitis, acne rosacea, skin ulcers, and exuding skin lesions. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, and the elderly should exercise greater caution during use and should follow their doctor's instructions considering the possibility of side effects. Long-term use or application over large areas may lead to various skin adverse reactions such as skin infections, skin irritation, rashes, itching, skin atrophy, and telangiectasia. Special attention is needed when using occlusive dressings, as there is an increased risk of infection. Additionally, since this drug belongs to the steroid class, systemic absorption may affect hormonal functions, necessitating regular checks. Caution is required when using near the eyes, as it may lead to increased intraocular pressure or eye diseases such as glaucoma. While not generally recommended for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, it may be used with appropriate antibiotics if necessary. It is best to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve, and apply carefully to sensitive areas such as the face, neck, and genitalia based on symptoms. Use during pregnancy or lactation may affect the fetus or infant, so it is essential to consult a doctor. Children and the elderly may experience drug side effects more easily, so extra care is needed during use. Also, this medicine is not for ophthalmic use, and should not be used for eye treatment purposes, nor should occlusive dressings be used without a doctor's instructions. Finally, store it out of the reach of children to prevent safety accidents.
