Precautions
This medication should not be used in patients with tuberculosis, viral, or other purulent infections in the oral cavity. Additionally, patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication should avoid its use. Since the use of this medication may foster fungal or bacterial infections in the oral cavity, appropriate antifungal or antibiotic treatments should be used if such symptoms arise, and use should be discontinued if symptoms do not improve. Use should also be halted immediately if allergic symptoms occur. Caution is needed for long-term use as it may suppress pituitary or adrenal function. Rarely, symptoms of blurred vision may occur; if these symptoms are present, consult a specialist. It is advisable not to eat immediately after application, and it is not suitable for use in the eyes. Using corticosteroids systemically or locally may cause visual disturbances, so if blurred vision or other visual anomalies occur, a visit to an ophthalmologist is necessary.
