Dosage
Typically, adults take 1 packet (single dose) three times a day before meals or between meals.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals with heart disease or those who have a history of heart disease. Additionally, it is not safe to use in babies under 1 year old. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. People with hypertension or kidney disease and those with edema should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are taking other medications, pregnant, or potentially pregnant should also consult with a healthcare professional. Children and the elderly require special caution when taking this medication, and dosage adjustments may be necessary. If there is swelling in the face or hands or an increase in blood pressure and headaches while taking this medication, immediately stop taking it and consult a healthcare professional. If there is muscle weakness or cramps, they may be side effects of this medication, and it is advisable to stop taking it and seek consultation. If there are irregular heartbeats or symptoms like shortness of breath and chest pain, discontinue use immediately. If symptoms indicating liver dysfunction occur, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. This medication must be taken exactly as prescribed and should only be used when symptoms occur; it should not be used continuously for long periods. When giving this medication to children, it should be done under the supervision of a guardian. Caution is needed when taking it with potassium-containing drugs, other medications with licorice, or specific diuretics as the risk of side effects may increase. When taking it with other traditional or herbal medicines, ensure that there are no overlapping ingredients. The medication should be stored away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and out of reach of children. It is important to keep the medication sealed in its original container to maintain its safety and efficacy.
Side effects
Reduced urine output, swelling in the face and extremities (edema), heaviness of the eyelids, myopathy, congestive heart failure, tachycardia, shortness of breath, chest pain, liver dysfunction, generalized fatigue, jaundice
