Sintax Yijin-tang Ex Granules

Adult dose

Generally, for adults, take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic inability to digest lactose should not take it. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney problems, those with body swelling, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, and elderly individuals should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching from previous medication should also consult a doctor or pharmacist. If taking other medications, it is important to consult a professional before starting this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash or itching develop during the course of this medication, or if there is swelling of the face or limbs and elevated blood pressure, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, spasms, or paralysis may occur, and if these symptoms occur, the medication should be discontinued. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, be sure to inform a healthcare professional. For long-term use, consult a professional and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines. Caution is required when taking this medication with potassium-containing drugs or certain diuretics, as they can lead to muscle abnormalities or hypokalemia. When taken with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and must be tightly sealed after use and kept out of reach of children.
