Sintex Sogeonjungtang-X Granule

Adult dose

For adults, 1 packet once (single dose), taken three times a day before meals or between meals.

Child dose

For ages 7-14 years, 2/3 packet once; for ages 4-6 years, 1/2 packet once; for ages 2-3 years, 1/3 packet once; for under 1 year, 1/4 packet once, taken three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age, and patients with severe nausea or vomiting should also refrain from using it. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, patients with a genetic disorder that impairs lactose digestion should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure or heart or kidney conditions should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with edema, those currently taking other medications, elderly individuals, and pregnant women or those possibly pregnant should consult a specialist before use. People who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching due to medications should be cautious. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet, high blood pressure, weakness, or muscle cramps occur during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If abnormal symptoms such as skin rash, vomiting, or diarrhea occur, stop taking the medication and seek medical advice. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for about a month, it is advisable to consult a specialist. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and if long-term use is necessary, consult a specialist. Children should take this medication under the supervision of a guardian. Caution is needed when taking with other medications containing potassium or licorice extract, as side effects may occur. When taking with other herbal medicines, ensure that there is no overlap in ingredients. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Additionally, it should be kept in its original container to prevent degradation of quality or misuse.

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It is recommended to maintain storage temperatures between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
