Precautions

This medication should not be applied to wounds or mucosal areas. Avoid using it if there is a bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal infection on the skin, as symptoms may worsen. Patients with a known allergy to this medication or any of its components, or those who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions previously, should not use it. Caution is required in patients with a perforated eardrum, as the healing process may be delayed by using this medication. Avoid using it on ulcer or severe burn areas, as skin regeneration may be inhibited, leading to delayed healing. It is also advisable not to use this medication when there is dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity or allergy to specific antibiotics should exercise caution when using this medication. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children should use this medication cautiously. This medication contains propylene glycol; those with allergies to this component should use it carefully. Signs of skin infection may appear, and if skin irritation, rashes, itching, or redness occurs during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Using it for an extended period or on large areas can cause steroid-induced skin changes or side effects, so caution is required. Excessive use may affect the body's overall hormonal balance; therefore, it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage. Caution should be taken while using around the eyes to avoid increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Long-term use of this medication may result in serious side effects like renal impairment or hearing loss; therefore, prolonged use should be avoided. Particularly for children or infants, it should be used under the supervision of a guardian, as areas covered by diapers may exhibit effects similar to occlusive dressings, requiring caution. This medication is not for ophthalmic use. If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek professional advice if necessary. Do not use this medication after applying makeup or shaving, and occlusive dressings should only be used as directed by a physician. Keep this medication out of the reach of children to prevent accidental exposure. During pregnancy, it may affect the fetus, so it is recommended to use it for the shortest time on small areas as much as possible. If visual disturbances like blurred vision occur after using topical corticosteroids, consult an ophthalmologist immediately. Long-term or inappropriate use of this medication may lead to withdrawal symptoms after discontinuation, so caution is warranted.
