This medicine is used as an adjunct treatment for insomnia and to aid in sedation. It helps improve the quality of sleep and relieves tension, creating a comfortable sleep environment. This drug is used as an adjunct to treat insomnia and helps maintain a stable mental state. If taken safely, it contributes to the overall improvement of sleep disorders.
As doxylamine succinate, take 25mg orally once a day, 30 minutes before sleep. Adjust dosage as necessary according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by patients with respiratory diseases such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or asthma. It should also not be used by patients with glaucoma or prostatic hypertrophy. Additionally, breastfeeding women and children under 15 years of age should not use this medication. This drug contains lactose, so patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid it. During the use of this drug, it is important not to take certain medications such as tricyclic antidepressants, anti-Parkinsonian agents, or disopyramide together, as concomitant use could increase side effects such as urinary retention or constipation. While taking this drug, it is crucial not to use other medications without consulting a doctor or pharmacist and not to continue taking it for more than 2 weeks. This medication has strong sedative effects, which may cause drowsiness, so avoid operating dangerous machinery like performing high-altitude work or driving. Do not take this medication after drinking alcohol or while drinking. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This drug may cause side effects such as dry mouth or constipation due to anticholinergic action. Since drowsiness may occur, it is advisable to primarily take it before bedtime and to reduce the dosage if excessive drowsiness occurs during the day. Finally, this drug should be stored out of the reach of children, and transferring it to a different container from the original may increase the risk of misuse or degradation in quality, so it must be kept in its original container with the lid tightly closed.

Do not take this medication with imipramine-based antidepressants, anti-Parkinsonism drugs, or disopyramide.
Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container that can block light and at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way helps maintain the effectiveness of the medication and prevents deterioration.
