Candidal vaginitis is a type of vaginitis caused by the fungus Candida. This medication is used to treat candidal vaginitis.

How to use

Adult use

Normally, 100 mg of clotrimazole is to be deeply inserted into the vagina once daily at bedtime for a continuous period of 6 days. For short-term therapy, 200 mg of clotrimazole is normally to be deeply inserted into the vagina once daily at bedtime for a continuous period of 3 days.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to the active ingredient or any of the constituents. During the use of this medication, it should not be used in conjunction with certain immunosuppressants such as tacrolimus or sirolimus, as these two medications can increase blood concentration and elevate the risk of side effects.
