Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its components, or who have hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts. There is not enough data to assure the safety of high-dose use of this medication during pregnancy, so it is advisable to avoid high doses. Breastfeeding women should avoid this medication, as it may be passed through breast milk. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen, and individuals at risk of thrombosis should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals with a history of bronchial asthma, skin rashes, or hives, and those taking vitamin A or K supplements, anticoagulants, certain obesity treatments, fatty bowel medications, or iron supplements should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. You should also discontinue use and consult a doctor if you suddenly experience increased menstrual flow or prolonged bleeding. Taking more than 10 IU of this medication per kg of body weight per day can delay the effects in children taking iron supplements and may cause vitamin E deficiency anemia in underweight infants, so caution is advised. High-dose use may lead to side effects such as nausea, intestinal cramps, fatigue, headaches, visual disturbance, and decreased reproductive function, as well as changes in blood lipids and hormone levels, so careful monitoring is necessary. Patients with lipid metabolism abnormalities should regularly monitor blood lipid levels while taking this medication, and dosage adjustments may be necessary if they are receiving other lipid medications. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and it is best to keep it in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality and prevent misuse and abuse.
