Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to specific ingredients. In particular, those with hypersensitivity to ingredients contained in this medication or to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should avoid taking it. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so individuals allergic or hypersensitive to this dye should exercise caution when using it. High doses may not be safe during pregnancy, so pregnant women should avoid high doses. Additionally, this medication can be transmitted through breast milk, so it is not recommended for nursing mothers. Excessive intake of this medication can reduce the effectiveness of iron supplements or cause anemia in children. Rarely, various side effects may occur with high doses, so caution is required. Mild side effects
Gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, rash, redness, nausea, muscle weakness, fatigue, headache, blurred vision, increased frequency of menstruation or worsening of menstrual flow, ongoing bleeding, nausea, intestinal cramps, decreased reproductive gland function, creatinine in urine, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, increased estrogen and androgen in urine, decreased serum thyroxine and triiodothyronine levels.
