Treatment of androgenic alopecia in both men and women
This medicine is used for the treatment of androgenic alopecia, which occurs in both men and women, specifically male and female pattern hair loss. The efficacy is adjusted according to the concentration, so an appropriate concentration is used according to the symptoms. This drug helps to improve the function of hair follicles to slow the progression of hair loss and promote hair regrowth. With consistent use, the symptoms of hair loss can be effectively managed. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of androgenic alopecia in both men and women.
After completely drying the hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 g or 0.5 to 1 mL of this drug to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 4 months. Do not exceed a total daily dose of 2 g or 2 mL. In the case of women, apply 0.5 mL twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 4 months to the affected area. If the hair loss is not due to genetic factors or occurs suddenly in patches, or if there is inflammation, infection, or irritation on the scalp, this drug should not be used. Additionally, individuals using other scalp treatments or those who have shaved their scalp should avoid using this drug. During the use of this drug, it is advisable not to use medications that may affect the skin, such as topical corticosteroids, retinoids, or petroleum jelly. If using medications that dilate blood vessels, caution should be taken as blood pressure may suddenly drop. Elderly individuals over 55 years old, those with edema, or individuals with thyroid dysfunction should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this drug. Symptoms such as itching, redness, or inflammation of the skin may occur during use, and gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or vomiting, changes in heart rate, difficulty breathing, dizziness, hepatitis, and edema may also occasionally occur. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This drug can affect the heart if excessively absorbed, so be sure to consult a specialist before use. If there are wounds or inflammation on the scalp, increased absorption might enhance the risk of side effects, so caution is necessary. If a dose is missed, use the next dose as scheduled without supplementation; this drug is ineffective for hair loss caused by specific reasons, so it is important to confirm the cause of hair loss before use. In case of overdose, cardiovascular symptoms may occur, so consult medical personnel immediately. This drug should only be applied to the scalp and should not come into contact with the eyes or sensitive areas. After use, hands should be washed thoroughly, and hair products should be used only after this drug has completely dried. Finally, this drug is flammable, so avoid flames or heat, keep it out of reach of children, and it is safe to store it in the original container.
