This medication helps relieve gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting caused by gastroesophageal reflux, hiatal hernia, and gastritis and duodenitis with ulcers. It also improves symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and colonic spasms, and in children, it is used to address habitual vomiting as well as non-infectious gastrointestinal pain and disorders like constipation and diarrhea. How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 100-200 mg of Trimebutine Maleate orally three times daily before meals. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may affect the gastrointestinal system and rarely causes symptoms such as constipation, diarrhea, intestinal gas sounds, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth, and oral numbness. Additionally, palpitations may occur rarely, so caution is advised. It can also affect the central nervous system, leading to rare occurrences of fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, and headaches.
