Dosage

For mild to moderate infections, instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected area every 4 hours. For severe infections, instill 2 drops every hour until symptoms improve, then gradually reduce the frequency. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics and is an eye drop formulation. Patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or similar drugs should not use it. If symptoms such as itching, swelling, redness, conjunctival hyperemia, or a burning sensation in the eyes occur during use, discontinue immediately.
