Precautions

This drug should be consulted with a physician or pharmacist before use for those who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily, as it can cause serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including this medication, can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Patients at risk of heart disease or stroke, or those taking this medication for an extended period, should be especially cautious and seek medical advice if abnormal symptoms appear. Additionally, this drug can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations. Older individuals or those on long-term medication are at higher risk for gastrointestinal-related side effects and should be closely monitored. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, or severe hypertension should not take this medication. Those with hypersensitivity to this drug or a history of asthma, or a history of allergic reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs, should also avoid taking this medication. Pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy should not use this medication as it may harm the fetus. This drug should not be taken in greater than the recommended dosage and should preferably not be taken with other NSAIDs. If breastfeeding, the medication may pass into breast milk and cause serious side effects in the baby, so either breastfeeding should be stopped or the medication should be discontinued. Patients with blood disorders, liver or kidney diseases, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of hypersensitivity must consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Furthermore, this drug may reduce the efficacy of aspirin when taken concurrently and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is advised. This drug can interact with various medications, so patients taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) should consult healthcare professionals. If severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, breathing difficulties, gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, or heart problems occur during use, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor immediately. It is advisable to take this medication at the lowest possible dose and for the shortest duration. Regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests are recommended for long-term use. In cases of overdose, serious side effects like dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver dysfunction, or renal failure may occur, necessitating an immediate visit to a medical institution.
