Adult dosage

(Oral: tablets, liquid) Adults: Administer 2-3g of L-carnitine per day orally in 2-3 divided doses. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms. (Injection) Adults: Administer 2-3g of L-carnitine per day by intramuscular or intravenous injection in 2-3 divided doses. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients with allergies to specific components. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as temporary nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur after taking the medication, and there may be body odor as well. Additionally, skin rashes, hives, and facial swelling have been reported, so if such symptoms occur, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Muscle weakness symptoms may occur in patients with impaired kidney function, so caution is required. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only take this medication when the benefits of treatment are deemed greater than the risks, as its safety has not been fully established. Nursing mothers should be cautious as this medication may pass into breast milk. When taken in liquid form, it must be diluted, and it is important to follow the doctor's instructions for both tablet and liquid forms before taking.
