(Oral: tablets) Adults: Administer 400㎎ of pentoxifylline per dose orally 2-3 times daily after meals with a small amount of fluid. The dose may be adjusted as appropriate depending on age and symptoms. (Injection) 1. Intravenous injection: Adults: Inject 100㎎ of pentoxifylline per day. Keep the patient lying down and administer slowly by intravenous injection over at least 5 minutes, or by intra-arterial injection if necessary. To assess the patient's individual response, it is preferable to initially administer 50㎎ diluted with normal saline injection to a volume of 10㎖. 2. Intravenous infusion: Initially, mix 100㎎ per day with 250-500㎖ of an infusion solution (such as normal saline injection or 5% fructose injection) and administer by intravenous infusion over 90-180 minutes. Starting the next day, increase the dose by 50㎎ daily until the daily dose reaches 300㎎. In cases of severe circulatory impairment, administer twice daily. 3. Intra-arterial injection: Using a motor-driven syringe, mix 100-300㎎ per day with 20-50㎖ of normal saline injection and inject slowly at a rate of 10㎎/min. 4. Tablets 100-200㎎ may be administered as adjunctive therapy to intravenous injection or intravenous infusion. After symptoms improve, treatment may be continued by oral administration. The dose may be adjusted as appropriate depending on age and symptoms.
