In children, it is used to treat constipation and diarrhea caused by bowel passage disorders that are not due to infection and habitual vomiting. How to take

Adult dose

As trimethobenzamide maleate, take 100-200mg orally three times a day before meals. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may affect the gastrointestinal tract, and rarely causes symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea, abdominal noises, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth, or numbness. Additionally, symptoms of a rapid heartbeat may occur rarely. It can also affect the central nervous system, causing fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, or headache. It may impact liver function, which could increase the risk of elevated liver enzyme levels.
