How to apply

Adult use

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Patients who are allergic to any ingredients of this medication or have had hypersensitivity reactions should also avoid its use. External otitis patients with perforated tympanic membranes should not use it as it may delay wound healing and increase the risk of infection. Patients with ulcers or severe burns or frostbite on the skin should not use it as skin regeneration may be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and nursing mothers should use this medication with caution and consult their physician if necessary. Children and elderly patients should use this medication carefully as they are at higher risk for side effects. Using this medication for an extended period or on large areas can lead to skin infections; thus, it should be discontinued immediately if infection symptoms occur. Various skin adverse reactions such as skin irritation, dryness, rash, and itching may occur; if such symptoms are present, use should be stopped and medical consultation should be sought. Prolonged use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vascular expansion, necessitating gradual dose reduction or switching to another medication. This medication can affect the body systemically, leading to suppression of pituitary or adrenal function, requiring regular examinations during extensive or occlusive therapy. When used around the eyes, there is a risk of elevated intraocular pressure or development of eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma. It is generally not recommended to use this medication for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, but if absolutely necessary, it should be used alongside antibacterial or antifungal agents. Safety of this medication in pregnant or nursing women has not been established, and its large or prolonged use should be avoided; treatment should be pursued under a doctor's guidance if needed. Children have a larger skin surface area relative to their weight, which can lead to increased absorption and higher risk of side effects, hence caution is necessary. Avoid use in areas that have occlusive effects, such as diaper areas. Elderly patients are usually more sensitive to side effects due to decreased physical function, so careful observation during use is essential. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and it should not be used after makeup or shaving for non-therapeutic purposes. When performing occlusive therapy, it is essential to follow the physician's instructions and keep the affected area clean to reduce the risk of infection. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, and psoriasis patients should be cautious as long-term, large-scale use may worsen skin symptoms during or after treatment.
