How to use

Adult use

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 2 times daily. It can be used up to 2 weeks, after which medications without corticosteroid components should be used.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on areas with skin infections caused by bacteria or viruses, or on areas with skin reactions after vaccination. Use should also be avoided if there is a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication or its components. It is advisable not to use it on patients with perforated eardrums, or in areas of ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. It is safer to avoid applying this medication around the mouth or the eyes, and on dermatitis or rosacea in those areas. Particular caution is needed when used in pregnant women or those with the potential for pregnancy, nursing mothers, and children or adolescents. This medication contains a component called propylene glycol; thus, patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. In case of infections, irritation, rashes, itching, allergic contact dermatitis, burning sensations, redness, or blisters on the skin, usage should be immediately discontinued. Prolonged use may lead to various skin changes such as steroid acne, skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and skin color changes. When used widely or for prolonged periods, there may be an impact on the body's hormone regulation, potentially leading to adrenal suppression; exercise caution in these cases. Avoid using around the eyes, as it may increase intraocular pressure or present a risk of glaucoma. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and especially when used in children, supervision by a guardian is required. Exposure of this medication over large areas or using occlusive dressings may increase the risk of systemic side effects, so proceed with caution. Avoid using it in conjunction with latex contraceptive products, as quality degradation may occur. It is safest not to use during the first three months of pregnancy, and during pregnancy or lactation, if there is a need to use this medication, consult a specialist and decide carefully. Nursing mothers should not apply this medication to the breast area, and prolonged or extensive usage should be approached cautiously as it may transfer through breast milk. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. Children may absorb the medication more readily relative to their body surface area, which increases the risk of side effects, and care should be taken when using during diaper changes as it may have occlusive dressing effects. Store this medication in a cool and dry place out of reach of children, and do not transfer it to another container. In psoriasis treatment, caution should be exercised as the skin barrier may weaken, leading to an increased risk of tolerance or side effects from the medication. In cases of bacterial superinfection, additional treatment may be required, and it is important to frequently change and wash clothing to prevent infection.
