Emcobal 500 Microgram Capsule (Mecobalamin)

Adult dose

Take 1,500 mcg of mecobalamin divided into 3 doses per day.

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to this medication or its components. Additionally, since it contains lactose, individuals with galactose intolerance or certain genetic lactose-related issues should avoid taking this medication. Patients taking H2 receptor antagonists for a long time should be cautious of vitamin B12 deficiency risk. If appetite loss, nausea, diarrhea, or skin rash occurs during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. Those working in jobs that handle mercury should avoid long-term, heavy use of this medication.
