How to take

Adult dose

For average adults, take 1 packet (single dose) three times a day before meals or between meals. For average adults, take 1 packet (15 pills) three times a day before meals or between meals.

Child dose

For ages 7 to 14 years, take 10 pills three times a day before meals or between meals. For ages 4 to 6 years, take 7 1/2 pills three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medicine can cause a serious lung condition called interstitial pneumonia, so if fever, cough, breathing difficulties, unusual sounds in the lungs, or abnormalities are found in chest X-rays occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Patients taking interferon preparations, those with cirrhosis or liver cancer, those with very low platelet counts due to chronic hepatitis, and those with lactose intolerance or specific genetic issues should not take this medicine. Taking this medicine together with certain drugs such as interferon alpha or beta increases the risk of interstitial pneumonia, so it should not be taken together with these drugs. Patients with high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, edema, those taking other medications, the elderly, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, children, patients with very weak physical condition, patients with liver dysfunction, and those with a history of drug allergies must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. If symptoms like facial or limb edema, increased blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness, muscle pain, dyspepsia, liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, and urinary issues occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve, or if there is no effect after one month of use, stop taking it and consult a specialist. The principle is to avoid long-term use of this medicine, and the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed. When administering to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary, and caution should be exercised when taken with other medications containing potassium or licorice as the risk of side effects increases. It is also important to check that there are no overlapping ingredients with other herbal medicines being taken. This medicine should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and humidity, in a safe location out of reach of children.
