This medication is used to treat dermatophytosis caused by dermatophytes and yeast fungi, including ringworm, tinea versicolor, candidiasis, Candida vulvitis, and Candida balanitis. It is also effective for skin diseases that are co-infected with these fungi. Additionally, it is utilized for the treatment of erythrasma caused by Corynebacterium. This medication helps improve various skin fungal infections and related conditions.

How to use

Adult use

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times a day and gently rub it in. The treatment duration varies depending on the severity and location of the condition. For example, dermatophytosis may require 3-4 weeks, tinea versicolor 1-3 weeks, erythrasma 2-4 weeks, and Candida vulvitis and Candida balanitis 1-2 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic or hypersensitive to imidazole derivatives and the components of this product. Additionally, patients with hypersensitivity to cetostearyl alcohol should not use this medication. This product contains propylene glycol, and patients with a history of allergy to this ingredient should use it cautiously. While using, be cautious of adverse reactions such as angioedema, anaphylaxis, hypotension, respiratory distress, skin rash or itching, and contact dermatitis that may occur. If the skin becomes irritated or symptoms worsen, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. To achieve therapeutic effects properly, do not arbitrarily stop treatment, even if symptoms disappear, and follow the doctor's instructions. This is a topical medication that is absorbed very little systemically, so the risk of systemic side effects is very low. Towels or clothing that come into contact with the area where the medication is applied should be changed daily to maintain cleanliness, and the affected area should be washed and completely dried before use. If this medication is ineffective, a test for other fungal infections should be conducted, and occlusive dressings or wrapping should not be used without a doctor's instructions. The use of acidic soap is to be avoided during Candida infections, and when applied to the genital area, the effectiveness of latex condoms or insertable suppositories may be temporarily reduced. Cetostearyl alcohol may cause skin irritation or contact dermatitis, so caution is needed. The effects on driving or operating machinery are unknown. This medication may interact with other antifungals when used topically, so consult with a professional when using them together. During pregnancy, it should only be used after a doctor's assessment, and it is possible to use while breastfeeding, but the area should be washed clean before breastfeeding if applied to the nipple.
