This oral medication is effective for joint-related diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used for reducing fever and pain caused by the common cold, as well as for alleviating back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it helps with various pain and inflammatory conditions, including ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, soft tissue injuries, and non-articular rheumatic diseases. The suppository form of the medication is primarily used to treat fever from acute upper respiratory infections in children. These medications effectively improve inflammation and pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, elderly patients or those taking the medication long-term should carefully monitor for unusual symptoms, and those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should avoid this medication. This medication should not be taken by individuals with gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding, severe liver or kidney impairment, heart failure, hypertension, or hypersensitivity to the drug’s components. Do not exceed the recommended dosage, and it is safer not to use this medication alongside other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If you are breastfeeding, this medication can be passed through breast milk and may cause serious adverse reactions in the infant, so you should either stop breastfeeding or discontinue the medication. Individuals with specific health conditions such as blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of hypersensitivity should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. This medication interacts with aspirin, reducing its cardioprotective effects or increasing the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is advised for those currently taking aspirin. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, low-dose aspirin, and high doses of methotrexate.
