Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day, so it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional or pharmacist. Prolonged use or use in individuals at risk for cardiovascular disease may increase the likelihood of serious cardiovascular issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke, so caution is necessary. Serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur, especially in the elderly or those who take the medication long-term. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction should not take this medication. People with a history of bronchial asthma or hypersensitivity to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should also avoid taking this medication. In late pregnancy, this medication should not be taken as it may lead to early closure of the ductus arteriosus in the fetus. After mid-pregnancy, kidney dysfunction or oligohydramnios may occur, necessitating prenatal monitoring. Do not exceed the recommended dosage and avoid taking it with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. For nursing mothers, this medication can be transmitted through breast milk and may cause serious adverse reactions in infants, so consideration should be given to stopping breastfeeding or the medication. Caution is also needed when driving or operating machinery as this medication may slow down reaction times, and combining it with alcohol may exacerbate such effects. Individuals with blood abnormalities, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of hypersensitivity should consult a healthcare professional before use. This medication may interact with certain drugs, therefore caution is required for patients taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. If severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, difficulty breathing, bleeding, liver dysfunction, or decreased kidney function occur while taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Regular blood tests and assessments of liver and kidney function should be performed during long-term use, and if any abnormal symptoms are detected, discontinuation or adjustment of the medication is necessary. This medication is intended for symptomatic relief and should be taken for the shortest duration and at the lowest effective dose for safety. In case of overdose, symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver dysfunction, and kidney failure may occur, requiring immediate medical attention. Keep out of reach of children and store in its original container to prevent misuse or deterioration in quality.
