Typically, adults take 1 packet (one dose) three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as it can cause uterine contractions or pelvic congestion, leading to a risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication as the ingredients may pass into breast milk and cause diarrhea in the baby; breastfeeding should be discontinued if this medication is taken. Additionally, individuals with genetic problems such as lactose intolerance, certain enzyme deficiencies, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication due to the lactose it contains. It is recommended not to take other laxatives while using this medication. Individuals with high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, edema, elderly patients, currently undergoing treatment, those with diarrhea or loose stools, individuals with weak stomachs, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting symptoms, and those with significantly weakened bodies must consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms like high blood pressure, edema, muscle weakness, numbness in hands and feet, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea occur during use, intake should be immediately stopped, and a professional should be consulted. If symptoms do not improve after one week of use, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is required. For long-term use, consultation with a professional is necessary, and prolonged use of stimulant laxatives can cause tolerance and worsen constipation, so it should not be taken continuously for more than one week. Furthermore, caution is needed when taken with medications containing potassium or licorice, and certain diuretics, as hypokalemia and muscle abnormalities may occur. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight and in a cool place with low humidity, out of reach of children. It should be stored in its original container tightly sealed, as transferring it to another container can pose a risk of quality degradation or misuse.
