This medication has antipyretic action that reduces fever, choleretic action that facilitates the flow of bile, and antibacterial action that inhibits the growth of bacteria. Therefore, it is used as an antipyretic when there is fever, as a choleretic when bile secretion is inadequate, and as an antibacterial to prevent bacterial infections.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adults, take 1.1-2.2 grams three times a day, either during or between meals.

Precautions

This drug is intended for use in jaundice caused by excess moisture and heat in the body. However, it should not be used for jaundice caused by reasons other than moisture and heat. Therefore, when symptoms are jaundice, the underlying cause must be accurately identified before taking this medication.
