Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. The ingredients in this drug may cause uterine contractions or congestion in pelvic organs, increasing the risk of miscarriage or preterm birth. Additionally, women who are breastfeeding should not take this medication. The ingredients of the drug can transfer to breast milk and potentially cause diarrhea in the baby. During breastfeeding, it is advised not to take this medication or to discontinue breastfeeding. While taking this medication, other medications that induce diarrhea should not be taken simultaneously. Drug interactions may lead to side effects or worsening of symptoms. Individuals with diarrhea or loose stools, those with weak digestion, or those experiencing loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting should consult a professional before taking this medication, as it may worsen symptoms. It is also important for individuals who are significantly weakened, currently receiving other treatments, elderly patients, and children to consult a professional before taking this medication. In particular, the safety of this medication in children has not been sufficiently confirmed. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur during use, or symptoms suggesting liver dysfunction (such as yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes) appear, the user should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Furthermore, if symptoms do not improve after approximately one week of use, discontinue taking the medication and consult a professional. This medication must be taken as prescribed, and especially the action of the rhubarb component may vary from person to person, so caution is necessary. Stimulant laxatives may lead to tolerance with prolonged use, worsened constipation, and should not be used continuously for more than one week. If a laxative is needed daily, the underlying cause of constipation should be identified. When taking this medication with other herbal medicines, special care must be taken not to overlap the same herbal ingredients, especially the rhubarb component. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and must be kept securely sealed after use. It should be kept out of the reach of children, and transferring the medication from its original container to another may reduce its quality or risk misuse, so it must be stored in its original container.
