Adult dose

3 times a day, 0.56-1.12 grams per dose, taken between meals.

Caution should be exercised as this medicine may impair heart function if taken for a long time or in large quantities. Additionally, it may cause excessive bowel activity or sudden narrowing of the bronchial passages, as well as respiratory inhibition; long-term use should be avoided. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should not take this medication as its safety has not been sufficiently established. Special attention is required for children with G6PD deficiency due to the risk of anemia. A decrease in red blood cell count can lead to serious issues such as brain damage. It can affect the gastrointestinal system, and constipation symptoms may sometimes occur. Lastly, newborns, nursing mothers, and pregnant women should not take this medicine.
