Dosage
Adults should take 1 packet (one dose) three times a day before or between meals.
Precautions
This drug should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as the ingredient Cortex Moutan may induce miscarriage or preterm labor. People with weak stomachs or prone to diarrhea should take caution when using this drug. After administration, appetite may decrease, and symptoms such as stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur. As this drug contains lactose, individuals with hereditary disorders that prevent lactose digestion should avoid taking it, such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Individuals with flushed faces and vigorous circulation, or those previously experiencing skin rashes or itching due to medications, should consult a specialist before taking this drug. Patients on other medications or treatments, the elderly, and children should also consult a specialist before using this drug. Should any unusual symptoms occur such as skin rash, itching, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, palpitations, headaches, or a feeling of heaviness in the head during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, discontinue use and seek specialist help. This drug must be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and method, and care should be taken to avoid ingredient overlap when taken with other traditional medicines. When storing, keep away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place; after use, be sure to seal the container securely. It is safest to keep it out of reach of children, and transferring the medication from its original container to another may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so it should always be kept in its original container.
