This medication is used to alleviate symptoms related to peripheral neuropathy.

How to take

Adult dose

As mecobalamin, take 1,500 mcg divided into 3 doses per day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by anyone allergic to this drug or any component of this drug. Additionally, as it contains lactose, patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. There may be cases where patients need to consult with a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. For instance, individuals currently receiving other treatments or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should definitely consult an expert. Furthermore, patients taking certain antibiotics or medications should be cautious as there could be interactions with this drug. Those taking H2 receptor antagonists for a prolonged period also need to consult due to the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Individuals who have consumed excessive alcohol for more than two weeks should consult with an expert before taking this drug. Those allergic to or hypersensitive to the ingredient Yellow No. 5 contained in this medication should use it with caution.
