Women who are breastfeeding should also avoid taking this medication, as the ingredients can be passed through breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants. Patients with symptoms of appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, or unexplained abdominal pain should not take this medication. Women who are menstruating should also avoid using this medication. Patients with diarrhea or loose stools should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as symptoms may worsen. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication can induce diarrhea to varying degrees depending on the individual, so be sure to adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage. Long-term use may lead to tolerance to the medication and exacerbate constipation, so it should not be taken continuously for more than one week. If daily laxatives are required, the underlying cause must be identified. When taking this medication with other herbal medicines, be careful not to duplicate the same ingredients. In particular, caution is needed when taking medications that contain Rhubarb. This medication should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
