For example, patients who have previously experienced severe allergic reactions or shock due to this drug, those allergic to this drug or penicillin-class antibiotics, patients with infectious mononucleosis, and those with lymphocytic lymphoma should avoid administration. Additionally, caution is needed in some patients. For instance, individuals with a history of allergy to cephalosporins or with a family history of allergic disposition, patients with severely reduced kidney function, those unable to take orally or the elderly, patients with heart failure, urinary tract defects, or recurrent urinary tract infections require careful monitoring and adjustment.
