Precautions

This medication is an injectable ampoule, and care must be taken when cutting the injection container to avoid glass shards, especially when used on children or the elderly. This drug should not be used in patients with hereditary fructose intolerance, storage dehydration, methanol intoxication, or patients allergic to this drug. Caution should be exercised in patients with diabetes insipidus, fructose malabsorption, hyperuricemia, olfactory hypersensitivity, shock states, liver or kidney diseases. Excessive administration of this drug may lead to sweating or facial flushing, and rapid high-dose administration can cause electrolyte imbalances, so caution is advised. Elderly patients may have diminished body functions, so this medication should be used with extra care in managing them. If administered subcutaneously in excessive amounts, it can disturb the electrolyte balance in the blood, leading to circulatory issues, so subcutaneous administration should be avoided. Before administration, the patient's skin and injection equipment should be adequately disinfected, and the medication should be warmed to about body temperature for use. Any remaining medication after opening should be discarded immediately. When injecting, administration should be done slowly into the vein.
