This medication is used to improve the symptoms of appetite loss.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 capsule twice a day, before breakfast and dinner for 8 days. After that, take 2 capsules twice a day, before breakfast and dinner.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to certain components. It should also be avoided by those with glaucoma or urinary retention issues. It is advisable for individuals with severe asthma or severely impaired liver and kidney function to refrain from taking this medication. Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, or obstruction in the bladder or gastrointestinal tract should exercise caution. Elderly individuals requiring assistance in daily life, children under 2 years of age, as well as those who are pregnant or nursing should also refrain from using this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, a history of hypertension, or increased intraocular pressure should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Those with diabetes or a history of seizures should also exercise caution. It is recommended that elderly patients consult a specialist before use. If symptoms such as confusion, hallucinations, dizziness, nausea, skin rash, fatigue, or loss of appetite occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Overdosage may lead to movement disorders, blood abnormalities, and skin rashes, requiring caution. Individuals with hypersensitivity may experience drowsiness; headache or dryness of the mouth may occur infrequently. A serious condition called metabolic acidosis may arise, so if any unusual symptoms appear, consult a specialist immediately. Long-term use of this medication may rarely lead to blood disorders. Patients with kidney dysfunction may experience muscle weakness, so carnitine levels in the blood should be checked regularly. There may be an effect on allergy test results and an increase in blood triglyceride levels, necessitating caution. When driving or operating machinery, be careful of the risk of accidents due to drowsiness or dizziness. This medication may have enhanced effects when taken with certain central nervous system depressants or alcohol, so it should not be used in conjunction with these substances.
