This medication is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as boils or pustules that occur on the skin.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
Once daily, apply a suitable amount of the poultice based on the size of the affected area; before the boil develops, increase the poultice size to twice the size of the affected area and change it daily; after the boil develops, first take a piece of the warming plaster the size of a mung bean and place it in the center of the affected area, then cover it with a poultice increased to twice the size of the affected area and change it daily.
Precautions
This medication should not be used in children and adolescents. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and women who are breastfeeding should not take this medication. Any person who has had an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients should avoid using it. This medication should not be applied to the eyes or surrounding areas. If symptoms do not improve after using this medication for about a week, the use should be discontinued and a pharmacist or doctor consulted. Long-term or excessive use may result in lead poisoning, so prolonged or high-volume use should be avoided. If allergic symptoms occur, use should be stopped immediately. Care should be taken when using this medication on infected wound areas, as the drug can be absorbed easily, posing a risk of lead absorption. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
