Precautions

This medication may rarely cause allergic reactions such as rashes during use, so if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain may occur rarely, so caution is needed if these symptoms arise. This medication must be stored out of reach of children, and if transferred to another container, misuse or a decline in the quality of the medication may occur. Therefore, it should be kept in its original container and tightly closed. When used as an injection, care must be taken when opening glass ampoules as glass shards may enter; special caution is required, especially when administering to children or the elderly. After injection, symptoms of anaphylaxis may appear, so symptoms should be carefully monitored. If the face turns pale, blood pressure drops, or the pulse becomes irregular, administration must be stopped immediately. If a rash develops at the injection site or gastrointestinal symptoms occur, administration should be halted, and consultation with a doctor is necessary. After preparing the injection, it must be used immediately, and care must be taken to avoid nerves or blood vessels during intramuscular injections. If repeated injections are needed, the injection site should be rotated, particularly when administering to children or infants.
