How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 2 tablets 3 times a day, between meals and at bedtime.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with severely impaired kidney function, especially those receiving dialysis treatment. Breastfeeding mothers should not take this medication as it may transfer to breast milk and increase the baby's heart rate. It is safer for children under 7 years of age not to use this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic disorder that prevents the digestion of lactose should not take it. While taking this medication, do not take stomach pain or cramping relievers and certain antibiotics from the tetracycline class.
