The procedure uses the Teneo 317 M2 excimer laser and reduces the corneal epithelial and stromal ablation area compared with conventional LASEK.
Corneal epithelial recovery takes 48 hours. The protective contact lens is removed on the second day after surgery, allowing patients to resume daily activities.
After applying a special solution called Masking Fluid to the cornea, which becomes irregular after surgery, corneal smoothing is performed using an excimer laser.
