  I had been suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia, receiving treatment and prescriptions from a local clinic for about three years. After consulting with the doctor about prostate surgery, I was advised to visit a specialist hospital in Seoul. I called Standtop and made a reservation for November 24th. When I arrived at the clinic, it was bustling, and I discussed my past conditions and treatment experiences with Dr. Kim. I underwent urine tests, post-void residual tests, and blood tests during my wait. Entering the surgery room felt surreal, and I had sudden thoughts like, ‘What if something goes wrong and I lose my manhood?’ or ‘What if I don’t wake up?’ Eventually, I drifted into sleep and woke up to find myself with a catheter in place, realizing I was a patient all of a sudden. After some recovery time, I was discharged with the catheter and urine bag attached, which felt quite uncomfortable. When I finally returned to normal life after removing the catheter, I reflected on the whole experience while acknowledging that I should have acted sooner if I had known the outcome would be this good. I’m currently taking the remaining medication while being warned that the full effect of the surgery won’t be evident until a few months have passed. The explanations provided by the doctor and staff were comforting and reassuring—I truly think if I had known it would be like this, I would have decided to proceed with the surgery much earlier.
