Healing Oriental Medicine Clinic

After finishing a marathon, my feet were swollen, so I visited a traditional Korean medicine clinic. I had bought shoes a size smaller, and after the long distance run, the swelling around the top of my feet and ankles was worse than usual, along with some pain, so I decided to get checked and receive acupuncture. As shown in the picture, they treated me by placing several needles around my not-so-pretty feet and ankles. Since I had some swelling, it was a bit painful when they inserted the needles. They also applied a heated moxibustion on the areas where the pain was concentrated for additional stimulation. During the treatment, I could feel my feet slowly starting to reduce in swelling, and immediately after the acupuncture, I noticed that the pressure in my feet, which had been tight and swollen, had lessened. There are some clinics that push unnecessary treatments or manipulations, but this place is truly suitable for patients who need real treatment.

The hospital is clean, the treatment is explained in detail, and the prescriptions are well understood. The nurses are also very friendly.
