Yangcheon Kyunghee Traditional Korean Medicine Clinic

I have been seeing a neurosurgeon for symptoms of foot pain, but since there hasn't been any improvement, I visited Yangcheon Kyunhee Oriental Medicine Clinic on a friend's recommendation. The clinic operates on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on weekends and holidays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The doctor, who studied at Kyung Hee University's Oriental Medicine program, provides treatment here. One of the advantages of this clinic is that they administer herbal acupuncture directly to the affected area. The physical therapy process starts with electromagnetic treatment on the symptom area, followed by cupping therapy from the doctor, then herbal acupuncture and regular acupuncture, and finally, a moxibustion treatment to finish up. The total treatment time is about 50 minutes.

It's the second day since I received treatment at the Oriental Medicine Clinic for a sharp pain in my right trapezius when I stretch my right arm. I had been getting acupuncture for foot pain at a different clinic, but it seems I need to prioritize treatment for my trapezius. I decided to change the treatment area. The session included physical therapy, cupping, herbal acupuncture, regular acupuncture, and finished with heat therapy. Before getting treated at Yangcheon Kyung's Oriental Medicine Clinic, I would have to undress during consultations at other local clinics. However, here, I wear a treatment gown with multiple zippers, which allows me to lower the zipper for the area being treated and minimize exposure, and I think that's really great. I receive acupuncture treatment for my cold feet symptoms more than once a week.

I was dealing with persistent shoulder stiffness, so I visited an acupuncture clinic to try treatment. As soon as I stepped inside, the place was neatly organized, which gave me a good first impression, and overall, it had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The staff who assisted with registration were friendly and guided me through everything, so I felt at ease during the process. The doctor didn’t just glance at my condition; they gradually asked about where and how I was feeling discomfort, which made me trust them. The acupuncture treatment was a bit sharp at times, but it wasn’t too overwhelming, and I felt like they were really making an effort to keep me relaxed throughout the procedure. After the treatment, I felt like my stiff shoulder had loosened up a bit, and I definitely felt more comfortable than before. I didn’t get completely better after just one session, but I could feel that the pain had decreased, which made me satisfied, and I think if I continue with the treatments, I’ll feel even better. The facilities, the service, and the overall atmosphere were all nicely set up, so I’m considering coming back.
