I’ve had severe diabetes for 15 years, with an HbA1c of 14%. This is the hospital I visit regularly to manage my blood sugar, kidneys, and pancreas. I’ve been to many large hospitals and other clinics, but the doctor here is a kidney specialist. At other hospitals, they would prescribe medication without even talking to me once the consultation started, but here, unlike other hospitals, the doctor explains everything in great detail and only prescribes the medications I really need, without overprescribing or misuse. They’re very professional. The nurses also greet me with bright smiles every time I visit and are very kind. There is parking in the basement and on the first floor, but it’s limited. There’s a large public parking lot across the street, so parking is convenient. There’s also a pharmacy on the first floor, which is great because I can fill my prescriptions right after my appointment. They also run a Pediatrics department, so I highly recommend this place to anyone living in Oedo-dong.

Suddenly, my stomach started to hurt a bit and I found myself running to the bathroom all day, so I eventually went to the internal medicine departmentㅠㅠ;; At first, I thought maybe the food I ate outside didn't agree with me, but as time went on, I started to feel nauseous and weak to the point where it was hard to go about my daily life... After the consultation, I was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and received IV treatment. I think my body was really exhausted since I hadn't eaten anythingㅠㅠ. The more IV fluids I got, the more my upset stomach calmed down little by little, and I was amazed at how after having gastroenteritis, even drinking water felt uncomfortable, but after the IV treatment, I started to feel better! Haha. I was worried because I hadn't eaten properly for a few days, but after the IV treatment, both my body and stomach felt so much better, and I was able to eat porridge a lot!

While I was traveling in Jeju, I suddenly started getting chills in the evening, and my whole body began aching as if I’d been beaten all over. I’d been excited to be out and about after such a long time, but I guess all the fatigue caught up with me. I even developed a bit of a fever and was in no condition to continue with my plans, so I searched for a nearby Internal Medicine clinic and rushed there as soon as it opened. After examining me, the doctor said I had severe cold- and flu-like symptoms and recommended that I not overdo it, get an IV infusion, and rest—it would help me recover much faster. I went straight into the infusion room, lay down on the bed, and received a nutrient IV. After sleeping soundly for about an hour and a half, I woke up feeling clear-headed and noticeably lighter. I also took the medication I was prescribed, and by the time I left, I felt completely back to normal, as if I’d never been sick. I was able to finish the rest of my trip without any problems. When you get sick while traveling, I think it’s best not to tough it out alone—just go to an Internal Medicine clinic right away, get an IV, and recover quickly.
