I went to get treated for my elbow pain. The doctor explained everything kindly, but they said I need surgery because my tendon is torn. Is there no way to treat this without surgery?

I visited for elbow treatment. I've had pain for over a year, and while it's not extremely severe, it does cause some discomfort in my daily life. I'm still undergoing treatment, but there's not much improvement.
